A frontline governorship aspirant in Delta State and the first female governor hopeful in Nigeria 2015. Dr Ngozi Olejeme has disassociated herself from her photograph that is currently being used in the social media to defraud the public of their hard earn currency.
Dr Ngozi Olejeme who is also the chairman of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) and chairman You and I development foundation has said she did not appoint any individual or agency to operate a Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Whatsapp, or any social network in her name. the NSITF boss who spoke through her media aid Benjamin Atu said Dr Olejeme has not commissioned anyone for such fraudulent act and have no intentions of operating any social media account.
Members of the public are hereby advised to delete such friend requests and desist from chatting with any individual or group claiming to be representative or agents of Dr Ngozi Olejeme. I have no agents of such and I did not do any launching of any kind.
“All the details about me in that facebook account are not accurate. My date of birth and every other details are inaccurate”. Benjamin Atu gave this phone number 0706-3045-342 to members of the public to report any phone number, friend request, or Bank account number sent to that effect for prompt police action. The case has been reported to the relevant authourities and is currently under investigation. Anyone with useful information to facilitate immediate police arrest should call 07063045342
The statement also appeals to political interest groups to desist from tarnishing the image of Dr Ngozi Olejeme by defrauding the public. Mrs Olejeme has never appealed for any assistance from the public to fund her humanitarian foundation or governorship ambition via any social media, anyone who fall as a victim after this wide publicized notice is at his own risk as a volunteer victim.
“Members of the public should guide themselves against fraudsters because so many have been victimized through various tricks. Dr Olejeme has never asked and will not ask for money in order to render any assistance to the public whom she was born to serve and has been serving at various capacity since the inception of Democracy in Nigeria” the statement added.
Mrs. Ngozi Olejeme’s ambition to rule Delta state has created tension amongst her opponents just as it has received support from various groups also with the Niger Delta Renaissance Organisation being the latest group to support her gubernatorial ambition.
The group which endorsed her during its \National Convention which held in Port Harcourt the Rivers State Capital directed its Delta State Chapter to ensure that it sets up strong structures in the various wards in the state. The communiqué was signed by the National coordinator of the NDRO Comrade Nwokoma Messiah as well as its  National Secretary Barr. Kingsley Frank.
