2019: Bama Central Youths Urge Comrade Abba to Contest

As the country gears up for the next election coming up in 2019, the people of Bama Central state constituency have called on Comrade Abba Bukar Abba Masta to brace up and contest for the position of member representing the state constituency at the House of Assembly.

Comrade Ahmed Mohammed Bukar who spoke to newsmen in Maiduguri Borno state said Comrade Abba has done so much for the people of the state as a young activist committed to the principles of good governance and justice and as such deserves to be supported to represent the people .

''Our state constituency has suffered so much under representation over the years and it is important that we do the needful by supporting somebody that can bring about positive change to the way we do things in the constituency in particular and the state in general''.

Asked if the people will be willing to support a candidate without political experience, Comrade Ahmed said it is wrong to say that Comrade Abba lacks political experience.

''Comrade Abba has once been a strong member of the Nigerian Youth Parliament you must know and he has also garnered experience working with a member of the Federal House of representatives for almost 8 years now so what are we talking about experience?'' he queried

He said while the people await the full declaration for the position of member representing Bama Central Constituency, the people of the constituency will not relent in mobilising and sensitising the people of the constituency on the desirability of the aspiration of Comrade Abba Bukar Abba Masta.
