ARCH BISHOP FRIDAY NWATOR PASSES ON AT 74

The Owiaken family of Alueken Community in Ogale clan of Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers State has announced with grief the demise of their husband, father, brother, son, grandfather, uncle and friend, Arch Bishop Friday Osaro Nwator.
He passed on to glory on the 6th of April, 2015 following a brief illness at the age of 74.
Arch Bishop Nwator, a devout Christian, Philanthropist and a United Kingdom trained medical doctor, was an Adviser on Health Matters to President Shehu Shagari, National President of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Founder, Health Services Department, Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt.
The late Nwator holds the National Honour of Order of the Niger (OON), was a member of the Constituent Assembly in the 2nd Republic, Chairman, Nigerian Red Cross Society, Rivers State.
He is survived by a wife, four children; among them Mr. Dominic Nwator, Commissioner, Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), six grand children and host of relations.
A statement by the Chief Mourner, Dominic Nwator said the burial is fixed for May 23, 2015 in Ogale, Eleme.
