Indeed the 2019 general elections has witnessed a game
changing entry in the game changing narrative of the presidential race as Prof
Al-Mustapha has declared intention to contest for the highest office in the
land on a platform dedicated to transforming the socio-economic indices of the
nation for the better while lifting the long suffering Nigerians from the
depths of poverty hunger, homelessness, diseases and illiteracy that has been
their lot since the post independence era.
According to an ebullient Prof. Al-Mustapha who is a
retired Major in the Nigerian Army, the era of business as usual is about to be
decisively consigned to the dust heap of history as the Peoples Party of
Nigeria (PPN) manifesto has declared total war on corrupt practices,
embezzlement of public funds and the misappropriation of state resources for
private ends.
However, the anti-corruption war of the PPN will not be
selective and biased in favour of gnomes and acolytes as is presently the case
with the present APC Federal Administration. Those who know me are aware that I
do not fear foe nor favour friends, all I am concerned is with due process, and
the rule of law, anyone or anybody that fall short of these sacrosanct ethos
will be made to face the full weight of the law no more no less.
Furthermore, Prof. Al-Mustapha extorted PPN faithful,
supporters, stakeholders and all Nigerians to remain steadfast in their support
of the party and its progressive agenda as it is poised to take over the mantle
of governance at the local, state and Federal levels in order to usher in a
more prosperous, abundant, fruitful and rewarding future for all as well as
generations unborn. The PPN has kicked off its Presidential, National Assembly,
and State House of Assembly campaign with a massive rally attended by tens of
thousands of supports, adherent artisans, youths, market women, professionals,
trade union and all manner of political activists at the Old Parade Ground,
Garki Area 3, Abuja with a resonating message of taking the over 170 million
Nigerians to the promised land come 2019.
