2015 Guber: Group Roots For Godwin Agba

The Niger Delta Renaissance Organisation has made case for the nomination of Chief Godwin Jedi Agba as the flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP come October 29th 2015. The group said nothing will prevent President Goodluck Jonathan from being reelected President of the country come 2015.
The group through its Cross River state coordinator Ndifon Emmanuel Ntira  said the nomination of Chief Godwin Agba will make the party sellable in the general election billed to hold next year. According to the statement, the Niger Delta Renaissance Organisation said it is poised to ensure that the best and most acceptable candidate is presented by the Peoples Democratic Party in the forthcoming elections in the state and that Chief Godwin Agba remains their best choice.
The NDRO said it is important to have a personality that will have very cordial relationship with Mr. President thereby attracting federal presence to the state and that Godwin Agba has the quality and humility to work with President Goodluck Jonathan.
The Niger Delta Renaissance Organisation said with the remarkable progress made by successive administrations in the state, the state cannot afford to vote in somebody that does not have the capacity to consolidate on the gains made so far.
The group also pledged total support for the reelection bid of President Goodluck Jonathan stressing that it will lead Nigeria to greater heights. “as far as President Goodluck Jonathan is concerned, the whole Cross River state is behind him we also believe that the PDP will be victorious in all elective positions next year… we are also urging the National headquarters of our great party to push for Godwin Agba as its flag bearer come February 2015” the group posited.
