Church Of God 7th Day Youths Hold Free Medicals Today

The youth wing of the Church of God 7^th Day Port Harcourt District will today hold a free medical programme for residents within the Community. This is part of its “An Encounter In Shiloh” Programme.

The programme which kicked off Monday is the youth initiative to spread the word of God within the Community where it operates. It has seen the youths take part in a cleanup exercise in the community already.

Residents within the Gambia area of Mile two Diobu in Port Harcourt have continued to praise the initiative of the youths in embarking on such community based programme which is aimed at evangelizing Christ within the Community. One resident Samuel Ekanem described the initiative as rewarding and touching. In his words, “Despite the illicit activities of youths within this area, these youths have found it worthwhile to preach Christ through such Community based activities. This is commendable and we do hope that Christ who is been evangelized will continue to grant them the grace to carry out their activities and win more souls to him.”

The activities is expected to continue and will round off on the Sabbath of this week being the 13^th Day of this month at their Church Headquarters at 36 Gambia street Mile 2 Diobu Port Harcourt. Men of God according to the programme made available to the press will feature and it is expected that “many souls will be won to Christ” one of the organisers told our reporter.
