Bayelsa 2015: Group Decries Campaign of Calumny Against Dudafa

The Bayelsa United For Progress has decried the campaign of calumny against former Senior Special Assistant to ex-President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan describing the recent campaign against the Kolokuma Opokuma born politician as mischievous, inciting and the height of mental retrogression by the perpetrators of the blackmail.
The group in a press statement signed by its National Coordinator Comrade Ebi Clement said it was reacting to the recent accusation against their political mentor because the accusation impinges on his credibility, confidentiality and loyalty to his former boss. Some online publications have accused the former SSA Domestic and Events to Dr. Jonathan of leaking sensitive materials to the present administration under President Muhammadu Buhari.
The group in the statement made available to newsmen wondered why the Seriake Dickson led political spin doctors have chosen to take the ignoble path of blackmailing those against their principal’s reelection bid stressing that such atavistic politics is not in sync with current political trends.
The group insisted that the decision of Dr. Waripamowei Dudafa not to support Dickson’s reelection bid was based on his conviction that the generality of the people of the state are not comfortable with Dickson’s bid to come back to Creek Haven. “The decision of Dr. Dudafa not to align himself with the deceitful bid for reelection by Dickson a governor who has failed the people, is taken out of love, patriotism and loyalty to the expectations of majority of the people of Bayelsa state not to continue with the Dickson administration which is clearly disoriented from the people. Instead of doing all he can to tackle the issue objectively, he and his blackmail agents in the Bayelsa New Media Team with a known political blackmailer as the head of the team have been engaged in blackmailing the likes of Dudafa and others who have come against his bid to be reelected. This is not the kind of politics we should be playing at this modern age”. The group stated.

It advised the people of the state to remain resolved in their rejection of the Dickson administration which it said is desperate to hang on to power at all cost even if it means dining with the devil.
