Group Hails Hon. Karimi For Proactive Representation.




A socio political group in Kogi State known as the “Yabga Youth Movement” has hailed his member representing Yagba East/ Yabga West/ Mopa-Muro Federal constituency for his proactive representation of the people of the Federal constituency at the green chambers of the National Assembly. Honorable Sunday Karimi is of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP.

The group through its National coordinator Mr. Adedayo Juwon said the way and manner the second term member of the House of Representatives has supported his constituents’ needs in terms of efficient representation and outreach is worth commending. He said the group will not hesitate to reciprocate such gesture to the member in order to achieve the overall wishes and aspirations of the people of the area. 

Mr. Juwon who made his position known on the law maker in a press statement made available to newsmen in Abuja said the group was making its position known so posterity will know that the lawmaker is performing very credibly and that the people of the area are happy with him.

He encouraged the lawmaker not to be deterred by the antics of his enemies especially the non performing Governor of the state who are all bent on feeding falsehoods about his performance to the people of the state stressing that no amount of falsehood peddled against his person will see the light of the day. It said the events in Kogi state today has shown that the people were deceived into joining a change train that has proved to be a mirage.

“Honourale Sunday Karimi is the people’s rep and we are confident and encouraged by his leadership style. His position on the state governor’s leadership style which is evident on his inability to pay workers salary in the state has endeared him to do people who see him as a bold leader that is capable of standing by the people in difficult times. We will always show him how grateful we are and no amount of propaganda by enemies of our constituency will deter us from continuing to show our support for him” the statement added.

The group however advised the House of Representative member to run for higher office stressing that the people are with him and will not fail to support him in order to bring the plight of the people to the front burner of national discourse. “we are aware that the time of politicking has not started but we want to urge the amiable House member to run for any political office when the time comes it will be the time to show our gratitude” the statement added.
