  The Rivers State Commissioner of Police has described Civil Society Organizations as strategic partners in the prevention of crimes in any society. The Rivers State Commissioner of Police Mr. Chris Ezike made this known while receiving the Coalition of Civil Society Groups in Rivers state. The Coalition was led by Amb. Emmanuel Nkweke of the International World Advocates of Peace. The Rivers Police Commissioner stressed the need for a strong synergy between the police and civil society groups.   Police Commissioner Ezike said the present administration is standing on the tripod of integrity, transparency and good governance.
