on her victory at the Supreme Court which ruled in her favour in the suit
brought Against her by Abubakar Waziri Who she defeated at the Senatorial
primaries of the party last year.
The group in a press
statement signed by Mr. Chris Alu its Director of Media said the victory was a
victory for democracy and the good people of Adamawa who voted for her to
represent them at the Red Chambers. The group in the statement urged aggrieved
politicians to come to terms with her victory and support her in order for her
to bring the dividends of effective representation to the people of her
constituency.

congratulating the Senator on her inauguration as a member of the Nigerian
Senate, the group said it has confidence that the four years which she will be
representing the people of Adamawa Central she will rein in her best for the
betterment of her people. “We have a very strong conviction that Sen. Ahmed who
was a member of the House of Representatives and the only Senator from the
North in this 9th National Assembly has the requisite experience to
make a difference at the Nigerian senate. The people of her constituency and
the country at large are lucky to have such a patriotic Nigerian at the Red
Chambers and we are of the conviction that with her quality as well as others
in this 9th Assembly, Nigeria will be better off for it’’ the
statement added.
It should be noted that
Mr. Abubakar Waziri had petitioned the Court over the emergence of Senator
