NASSLAF Finally Inaugurates Leadership

After a protracted disagreement over the leadership of the National Assembly Legislative Aides Forum NASSLAF, the forum has finally settled its disagreement leading to the inauguration of Samuel Melaye as the chairman. Mr. Sam Melaye is the younger brother of Sen. Dino Melaye.

Recall Mr Melaye in 2016 was elected as the Chairman of the forum but the outcome of the election was disputed by the Darlynton Udeh's faction of the forum due to irregularities in the election process.

Mr. Yusuf Sikiru Bamidele who is the Public Relations Officer I of the forum said the inauguration has finally laid to rest the factionalisation of the forum. He said all the factions are hereby unified by the inauguration. On his part, Mr. Sam Melaye promised to bring all members of the forum on board. He said it is high time to strengthen the forum in order to ensure that legislative aides are given their rights and privileges.

Those inaugurated as the new 12 man executive of the forum are Commerade Sam Melaye Chairman, Salisu Zuruice Vis. Chairman, Michael Oladipo General Secretary, Banny Elijah, Assistant Gen.
