High Court Judgment: “Felix Obuah Will Shame His League of Traducers” NDRO

The Niger Delta Renaissance Organisation NDRO has reacted to the recent judgment of the Rivers State High court under Justice Enebeli which ruled that the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Rivers state Bro. Felix Obuah should submit himself for investigation to the Nigerian Police over the killings in Omoku town. The organisation in a press statement said even as it respects the judgment of the court, the PDP chairman will overcome the vain allegations against him and will end up shaming his traducers.

The NDRO in a press statement signed by its National Coordinator Comrade Nwokoma Messiah said it is shameful that after all the contributions which Bro. Obuah has contributed to Omoku town, ONELGA, Orashi region and Rivers state he will be crucified in the social media by backward elements who do not wish Omoku, ONELGA and the state well. The group which hailed the impact of Bro. Obuah in his community and the state, commended the resoluteness of supporters of Bro. Obuah, it said nothing any man will do that will bring down somebody that is blessed by God. The statement said the more they try to bring him down the more his popularity and acceptance by the people increases.

The group alleged that the All Progressives Congress APC is behind the spurious allegations against Bro. Obuah because they are afraid of his larger than life political value and his strong support for Governor Nyesom Wike. “The APC has been sponsoring people to malign Bro. Obuah and we will soon expose those behind the plot. Those fighting the Chairman are afraid of the political value of Bro. Obuah and the fact that he remains a strong supporter of the state governor Barr. Nyesom Ezebunwo Wike who they are desperate to remove from office but we are consoled by the fact that nothing they do will bring him down no matter the lies and propaganda they spread. The majority of the people of Omoku town know he is not a killer and will not resort to killings to get political power because the people are behind him. We know the real threats to security in the state and they will soon be exposed” the group posited.

The NDRO said they believe that Bro. Obuah is not afraid of investigation by the police but is only concerned of the evil antics of the APC who want to use propaganda to get to a man they cannot pull down on a level playing ground.

DEFECTIONS: Why Saraki, Dogara Others Must Heed Sen. Ibrahim's Call by Comrade Nwokoma Ndubuisi M.

The gale of defections in the National Assembly last week was followed by an advice from no one else than Sen. Abu Ibrahim that the Senate President Dr. Bukola Saraki as well as the Speaker of the House of Representatives Yakubu Dogara and others in the fold of the All Progressives Congress APC that are still masquerading in the party should resign their membership of the party. This call which also implies that they resign their positions as leaders of the various arms of the National Assembly is yet to be complied with by those concerned as at the time of writing this piece Whatever their reasons for still staying put in the party may be, the fact of the matter is that their continued stay in the party has become a sore which must be extricated from the body.  As I watched through the proceedings of the defections on national television, I wept for the country for producing such leaders that lack morality despite all the party has given them politically which they ordin...
