The Niger Delta Renaissance Organisation has urged Nigerians from all sectors not to use the five day vacation of President Muhammadu  Buhari to overheat the polity. The group said it is important that Nigerians wish him the best in his vacation. The group hailed his decision to hand over power to his vice pending his return to power. In a press statement made available to newsmen in Port Harcourt and signed by its National Director of Mobilisation  Comrade Benjamin Etuk, the group said it will be wrong for Nigerians to make unnecessary speculations surrounding the health of Mr. President during the course of his five day vacation.
The group said even if there are any insinuations to that regard, Nigerians owe it as a point of patriotism to pray for their leaders no matter the circumstance  they find themselves.
The group said though it may have deferred with the President on certain issues based on principles, but the progress made by the present administration so far must be well commended by Nigerians no matter the divide they find themselves.
On the issue of handing over duties to his Vice, the group said the action of the President should be commended. It said it will be mischievous for Nigerians to use the issue to overheat the polity in any way warning that any attempt to do such will not be in the overall interest of the country.

The NDRO said no matter how Nigerians view the Buhari administration, what the administration has done so far shows to a strong extent that it is sincere in its efforts to bring about positive change. “The efforts of the present administration so far show that it is sincere in its determination to rejuvenate the system. This is not what anybody can take away. What we need right now is a concerted effort to ensuring that what the administration promised Nigerians is realized and not to be looking at its pitfalls because if we do, the whole country will suffer for it” The NDRO statement read.
